Why the minimum is 10 pieces
Every custom patch order needs the same setup work, whether you order 10 pieces or 1,000: your artwork is prepared and digitized, colors are matched, the machines are set up and the first pieces are checked. A 10-piece minimum keeps that setup worthwhile while still letting you order a small run. It also means you can test a design, a size or a backing on real patches before you commit to a larger order.

How to keep a small order affordable
- Choose a modest size. Size is one of the biggest cost drivers; a 3" patch costs less than a 5" one. Use our patch size guide.
- Keep the design bold and simple. Fewer colors and less fine detail mean less stitching and setup.
- Pick a standard border and backing. A merrowed border with sew-on or iron-on backing is usually the most economical. Compare backing options.
